A later library export can omit a column or leave values blank. ShelfPatch keeps the latest snapshot separate, then builds a best-known view with field-level provenance.

How it works

1. Add two or more Goodreads CSV exports.
2. Arrange them oldest at the top and newest at the bottom.
3. Review dropped-column, coverage-drop, conflict and missing-row warnings.
4. Download a recovery pack containing strict latest, best-known, provenance and portable HTML outputs.

What stays private

CSV contents stay in your browser. Aggregate measurement excludes filenames, titles, authors, shelves, ratings, reviews, notes, dates, identifiers and search terms.

Important limitation

A best-known value is not automatically the correct current value. If you intentionally cleared a rating, review or shelf, an older non-empty value may still appear as a flagged recovery candidate. Review provenance before importing anywhere.
